Living Coral Makes a Splash this Spring

Property tips :   21 - 03 - 19

Pantone announced its colour of 2019 to be Living Coral which is sure to enliven any room. Clare Laughland Interiors in Farnham are the experts when it comes to introducing a new shade into the home and here they share another inspirational guest blog…

We can already see living coral filtering into exciting patterns and prints for the home. It is a wonderful vibrant tone but not over powering being warm, optimistic and playful and, most importantly, easy to mix with more neutral tones.

Offset against the darkest of charcoal greys which are very much the new neutrals of the moment, it really comes to life and makes the interior room scheme ‘pop’. Use it as a great accent colour or to cover a statement piece of furniture set against that dark grey wall.

Living Coral also works extremely well with the warm metallics like bonze, brass and brushed gold, which are still on trend in the interiors world.

But if the thought of following the latest trend fills you with fear, don’t worry, Living Coral is not the only wonderful rich tone on the market, there are plenty of warm spice colours around so you can create a lovely individual look.

Just be assured that the day of the all beige room scheme is in the past, and colour, pattern and print are very much back in fashion and do not seem to be going anywhere in a hurry. Here at Clare Laughland Interiors we say ‘thank goodness’!

Inside our interiors showroom we have new collections from Etamine, Mulberry, Colefax & Fowler and Christopher Farr Cloth all of which have these gorgeous warm coral and spice tones featuring heavily in them.
