Highland style is the key interior trend for Autumn/Winter 2018 according to our guest blogger Clare Laughland. Here we hear from Clare as she shares some inspiration.
With Autumn upon us, it’s time to cosy up and light the fire on those cooler evenings. Wrap yourself up in soft wool throws and blankets. Checks, tartans and plaids are a timeless living room accessory, but with an updated colour palette of heather and rust with accents of moss and sage greens.
Furniture styles are mixed up, leather, wood and even upholstered pieces all working together. Vintage and antique one offs alongside more contemporary pieces.
Please pop into the Clare Laughland showroom on Downing Street, Farnham, for more inspiration as we feature a fabulous selection of wools, tweeds and winter patterns.
For ideas on wools and tweeds you can take a look at our pattern books from Moon. Or if you are keen on wintery patterns and prints with outdoor themes such as horses and stags teamed up with a modern selection of tweeds you can take a look at our selection from Linwood.
