Farnham was recently named one of the best places to live in Surrey by the popular lifestyle website Muddy Stilettos. Readers across 28 counties were encouraged to vote for the best places to live outside of London, and more than 25,000 people participated in the survey.

The town is steeped in history and Farnham Castle is a must see, along with Waverley Abbey – the first Cistercian abbey in England. Many blockbuster films feature scenes filmed around the Abbey ruins such as Transformers: The Last Knight, The Mummy and Howard’s End.

Popular with commuters, Farnham benefits from a railway station which is just a ten minute walk from the town centre. There are frequent services to London Waterloo and also Alton in Hampshire.
