Farnham is an up-and-coming town and this spring we are receiving a high volume of enquiries from buyers who are interested in relocating to the area from the city. The town is set to attract even more young families, individuals and investors due to plans to regenerate the East Street area of Farnham. While met with some local opposition the plans will bring new homes, new businesses and employment opportunities.

Andrew Lodge managing director says: “Farnham Town Centre is undergoing an amazing time of change with major redevelopments taking place in the East Street area of Farnham. These planned redevelopments are creating growing interest in the town from prospective buyers and investors.

“Currently new residential and commercial developments are being undertaken by Farnham Estates, Crest Nicholson and Berkley Homes which will change the face of the town centre and provide many new homes, some of which will be affordable housing.

“Our team is being instructed this Spring by Farnham Estates to release 14 luxury apartments, spaciously designed with a high specification and underground parking. This exciting development is set in the heart of Farnham town centre, close to Farnham Park and mainline station. Full details will be released soon.

“Major regeneration plans from Waverley Borough Council will see the creation of Brightwells Yard, with a phased opening in 2021. Along with new homes there will be an influx of new amenities and recreational areas including shops, a cinema, and public spaces. It will be very interesting to see the East Street area regenerated for the coming years ahead.”
