Andrew Lodge Estate Agents to sponsor the 2011 Alice Holt Races.
Andrew Lodge Estate Agents sponsored this year’s Alice Holt races, which were organised by Farnham Runners and took place on Saturday 10th September 2011. The Alice Holt 10k race has been one of the most popular races at the family event in recent years and is a perfect warm up for the “Pilgrim’s Marathon” the following weekend.
The fun event included a variety of activities for both children and adults, focused around the Alice Holt visitor centre with its adventure play ground, with nature walks, cycling, refreshments, ice cream and a BBQ by the Café on the Green.
The Alice Holt Runs include a 10K, 5 K, 3K and 1K run and a 60 metre under five’s race. The 10K run is designed for runners that are 16 and older. The course is a multi terrain course featuring a forest route with smooth hard-packed gravel making it a safe and fast off-road event.
Grant Walters of Andrew Lodge Estate Agents says “The Alice Holt Races have always proved to be highly popular with hundreds of participants each year. This is a great event and we are very proud to be one of the event’s main sponsors.”
Grant, a keen runner who accomplished the Dublin marathon last year and has raced internationally, took part again this year in the 10k race.
